Jana Kramer Says L.A. Costs Prompted Nashville Move

Jana Kramer says she left Los Angeles for Nashville in 2019 because she couldn’t afford the larger home, backyard and neighborhood she wanted for her children. The move also reflected her wish to give them a childhood like the one she remembers in Michigan, with freedom to play outside and visit nearby friends. She says watching her children ride bikes and spend time with neighborhood friends makes Nashville feel like home, and that Tennessee brings her a sense of calm. Kramer added that Hollywood remains accessible by plane, though she prefers the different pace of life in Tennessee.
