Jason Reynolds Turns to Adult Fiction With 'Father, Father' Road Novel

Jason Reynolds, best known for award-winning children’s books, is moving into adult fiction with “Father, Father,” due out in June. The novel follows two brothers on a cross-country road trip as they revisit their contrasting memories of their recently deceased father and grapple with the complexity of love and human nature. Reynolds says the book brings flawed adults—often secondary figures in his earlier work—to the center of the story.
