Jets Expect Hall, Davis, Sadiq; Ossai, Gray Out

The Jets enter their Sept. 13 opener against the Titans with most of their key offensive players available, including Breece Hall, Isaiah Davis and rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq. New York will be without edge rusher Joseph Ossai and reserve receiver Tim Patrick, while cornerback D’Angelo Ponds and kick returner Kene Nwangwu are doubtful. Kene Nwangwu’s potential absence could affect the return game, and the Jets plan to elevate Jason Sanders from the practice squad to handle kicking duties. Tennessee will also be without linebacker Cedric Gray, whose absence could significantly weaken its run defense and create opportunities for Hall and the Jets’ ground game. Heat in Nashville is expected to test both teams’ depth late in the game.
