Aaron Rai, Adam Scott and Rory McIlroy tied for third at 15 under, with McIlroy’s late charge following an eagle on the 18th keeping him in contention for a record-equalling eighth Race to Dubai title before the final round. The tournament featured a tightly packed leaderboard, while major names including Brooks Koepka, Tommy Fleetwood, Nicolai Højgaard and Jon Rahm missed the cut. Rai and Joakim Lagergren had shared the first-round lead at 6 under, underscoring the event’s competitive start.
