Job Fairs in China, Arkansas and Puerto Rico Attract Thousands

Job fairs in China, Arkansas and Puerto Rico connected job seekers with employers across a range of opportunities. In Harbin, an event at Harbin Normal University brought more than 11,000 graduates together with 260 employers offering 8,769 vacancies, while other fairs in Chinese cities also aimed to link applicants with potential employers. In Little Rock, Park Plaza scheduled a holiday-season hiring fair featuring more than 20 retailers and vendors, with full- and part-time roles, on-site interviews and workforce services for resumes and interview preparation. Puerto Rico’s labor department reported that its job fair drew more than 1,600 attendees and included 80 employers.
