K92 Mining Reports 49,776 Gold-Equivalent Ounces, Million-Ounce Milestone
K92 Mining produced 49,776 gold-equivalent ounces at its Kainantu mine in Papua New Guinea in the third quarter of 2026, its second-highest quarterly total, and surpassed one million ounces produced since commercial production began in 2018. The company also processed a record 250,042 tonnes and reported strong gold and copper recoveries above feasibility-study benchmarks, alongside record underground development. Its Stage 3 expansion continues to ramp up, with additional mining fronts and completed upgrades expected to support higher production. K92 reiterated its full-year target of 190,000 to 225,000 gold-equivalent ounces and expects the fourth quarter to be its strongest, citing higher-grade mining and increased production rates.
