Kentucky Upsets No. 10 LSU in Overtime
Kentucky running back CJ Baxter rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries in the Wildcats’ 35-34 overtime upset of LSU, including a 77-yard run that helped spark the offense. After injuries disrupted his career at Texas, Baxter described his move to Kentucky as a second chance and thanked coach Will Stein and the staff for it. He credited his Christian faith with helping him through adversity, pointing to the Bible verse John 13:7 on his eye black and saying the glory goes to God.
