KKR-Singtel Consortium Completes STTGDC Acquisition, Capacity 780MW

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STTGDC) completed its acquisition by a KKR-led consortium including funds managed by KKR and Singtel, and unveiled a refreshed global brand built around the “Built Ready” positioning while retaining its name and leadership. The deal provides long-term capital and greater financial flexibility to accelerate AI-ready data center expansion across Asia, the United Kingdom and Europe. STTGDC’s capacity rose to 780 MW by mid-2026, up 25% since the end of 2025, with contracted capacity up 50% and EBITDA up about 30%, reflecting strong demand from hyperscalers, cloud providers, AI customers and enterprises. The company holds nearly 2 GW of powered land for assets under construction and development, underpinning growth in core markets including India, Indonesia and Singapore, with notable developments in Jakarta and Singapore and a sustainable, AI-ready expansion plan. The refreshed branding signals a continued growth trajectory under the Built Ready framework, guided by power availability, policy environments and infrastructure readiness to support large-scale digital infrastructure.
