Jackson Koivun, a 21-year-old PGA Tour rookie and former Auburn standout, won the 3M Open in Blaine, Minnesota, by three strokes over world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, finishing at 25-under and setting a 72-hole scoring record. He closed with a 66 in the final round after a 61 in the third round that featured a back-nine record 28. Koivun's breakout follows a celebrated college career at Auburn, and he turned pro after the U.S. Open and joined the PGA Tour via the PGA Tour University Accelerated program.
