Lainey Wilson becomes first woman to solo-host CMA Awards twice
Lainey Wilson will host the 60th Annual CMA Awards, marking her third consecutive year in a hosting role and her second as the event’s solo host. The announcement was made during ESPN’s College GameDay broadcast from Louisiana State University, Wilson’s home state, and makes her the first woman to solo-host the CMA Awards twice. The ceremony will take place Nov. 18 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and air live on ABC and Disney+, with streaming on Hulu the following day. Nominees will be announced Sept. 10 on Good Morning America and through the CMA’s official YouTube livestream, while tickets go on sale Sept. 18. Wilson has won 12 CMA Awards, including Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.
