A 61-year-old Lewiston man died after his northbound 2008 Ford F-150 left Thain Grade, went down an embankment and overturned, coming to rest on its roof in a gully. The crash occurred near the 2800 block of Thain Grade around 12:47 p.m. on October 24, 2026. Investigators said the driver was not wearing a seat belt; his identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin. The road was closed for about three hours while police investigated, and officials are asking anyone with information to contact the Major Collision Investigation Team.
