LHN Energy to bundle solar power with EV charging for Singapore fleets

Singapore-based LHN Energy plans to launch a combined solar power-purchase agreement and DC fast-charging service in September 2026 for businesses transitioning to electric heavy vehicles. The offering will integrate rooftop-solar financing, installation and maintenance with charging infrastructure and project delivery for depots, warehouses, factories and other sites where vehicles return for scheduled charging. LHN Energy will assess each customer’s fleet plans, charging demand, rooftop potential and electrical capacity before designing a system, while customers purchase the solar electricity under agreed terms. Eligible projects could have no upfront infrastructure cost, depending on site conditions, grant approval, financing and final commercial terms. The service will incorporate Singapore’s Electric Heavy Vehicle Charger Grant, which from 2026 through 2028 covers up to 50% of eligible charger-installation costs, capped at S$30,000 per charger for the first 500 approved units.
