Lily Allen Downsized North American Tour Over Low Sales
Lily Allen said several North American dates on her West End Girl tour were moved from arenas to smaller venues because ticket sales did not meet projections. She explained that promoters, rather than artists alone, use sales data to recommend venue sizes, although she said she initially worried some arena bookings were too ambitious. Allen and her team chose to relocate shows instead of canceling the tour, helping preserve work for the approximately 50-person crew; the Montreal date was canceled. Concerts in cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago were among those affected, while the tour continues to support her 2025 album, which she performs largely in full as part of a theatrical presentation.
