Lipsey Returns, Leads Iowa State Past Northwestern 94-59

Tamin Lipsey returned to the court for Iowa State in its second preseason exhibition, helping the Cyclones beat Northwestern. The veteran guard scored 14 points, dished out seven assists and had two steals after easing back into the team following meniscus surgery in late July. His return follows an offseason away from the roster and comes as he seeks a fifth year of eligibility amid ongoing NCAA litigation. Iowa State opens its season against Memphis on Nov. 2.
