Liverpool beat Palace 3-1, end losing run
Liverpool ended a run of consecutive defeats with a 3-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, moving into fourth place in the Premier League. Alexis Mac Allister headed in Dominik Szoboszlai’s free kick before Florian Wirtz doubled the lead after halftime, and Alexander Isak added a late third; Eddie Nketiah converted a stoppage-time penalty for Palace. Goalkeeper Alisson made several important saves as Palace threatened, but the hosts extended their winless run and fell to the bottom of the table, increasing pressure on manager Pierre Sage.
