Lloyd Scores First Rushing TD in Packers’ Win
MarShawn Lloyd’s punishing 7-yard touchdown run against the Bears, in which he knocked cornerback Jaylon Johnson to the ground, earned him the NFL Network’s Angry Runs award and offered hope for Green Bay’s struggling rushing attack. The Packers are averaging just 60.4 rushing yards per game, while Lloyd has gained 112 yards on 40 carries, and the 2024 third-round pick is still working to establish consistency after injuries limited his first two NFL seasons. With Josh Jacobs unavailable, Lloyd has been pushed into a larger role, and coach Matt LaFleur and quarterback Jordan Love have praised the decisiveness and physicality he showed on the touchdown. Lloyd said he wants to repeat that kind of performance as Green Bay prepares to face Dallas.
