Local Governments Plan Open Houses on Civic Issues

Cheyenne’s Ward 3 representatives will hold a Council and Coffee open house Oct. 17 at Dazbog Coffee, where residents can discuss ward and city projects and raise concerns. Blue Earth County, Minnesota, is seeking public input on data centers at two October open houses and through an online survey, following an August moratorium. Clark County, Washington, has scheduled three open houses about November ballot Propositions 12 and 13, which would fund jail upgrades and law-and-justice staffing; some sessions will include limited jail tours. Jackson County residents were also invited to a town hall on proposed Amendment 3, a property-tax measure on the November ballot.
