LSU Clinches SEC Berth, Missouri Eliminated in Draw
LSU and Missouri played to a 0-0 draw in the regular-season finale, a result that sent LSU to the 12-team SEC Tournament as the 11th seed and ended Missouri’s season just outside the field. Missouri outshot LSU 12-4 and earned nine corners, but managed only one shot on goal; goalkeeper Riley Wilkerson made four saves to keep LSU from scoring. LSU goalkeeper Audur Scheving preserved the shutout, while the Tigers’ draw was enough to secure the postseason place they needed. Missouri coach Stefanie Golan said her team created chances but fell short on execution, and praised the players’ resilience after a strong late-season stretch.
