Lululemon accused of misleading investors on demand and outlook
Lululemon faces a proposed securities class action in federal court alleging the company and certain executives misled investors about weakening store traffic and product demand, the strength of its business and turnaround efforts, and its 2026 outlook. The complaint says negative product commentary and underperforming launches contributed to slower sales, and that Lululemon cut its financial guidance in June and again in September; its shares fell after both announcements. Investors who bought Lululemon securities from March 18 through September 3, 2026, have until January 4, 2027, to ask the court to appoint a lead plaintiff. The allegations have not been proven, and the class has not been certified.
