Curious how much of that "competitiveness" is just cheaper capital costs versus actual skill jobs coming back. Numbers matter more than headlines here.
Great that the plant stayed open but let's not pretend this saved as many jobs as the old setup did before robots came in.
My dad worked in a factory like this for 30 years, automation replaced half his line but the remaining jobs pay better now. Mixed feelings honestly.
