Man, 91, Dies in Canton Rollover
David Duncan, a 91-year-old Ashland man, died after his Hyundai Veloster left eastbound U.S. 30 in Canton, struck a chain-link fence and rolled into a wooded area. The vehicle came to rest on its side against trees and was difficult to see from the road; a passerby found it on the afternoon of Oct. 14, and Duncan was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved, and investigators have not determined whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash. The Canton Metro Crash Team is investigating, and police are asking anyone with information to contact the department’s Traffic Bureau.
