Delorean Bijon Brandon, 41, has been charged with murdering Christina Downer, 38, the sister of “Saturday Night Live” writer Jimmy Fowlie; prosecutors allege the killing occurred in September 2025. Kaylee Markowski, 34, was charged with being an accessory after the fact, and authorities allege she helped Brandon dispose of Downer’s body. Downer was reported missing in December 2025, and her body has not been found. The LAPD investigation intensified after her cellphone washed ashore on Santa Monica Beach; police said Brandon had claimed Downer moved out months earlier, leaving her belongings, car and dog behind. Brandon also faces separate domestic-violence charges related to an alleged 2022 incident, and the two defendants were scheduled to be arraigned in Los Angeles.
