Illinois felon sentenced to 10 years after cocked revolver found in pocket
Decatur resident Dillon Cagle was sentenced to 10 years in Illinois prison after pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of a weapon; he will also serve one year of mandatory supervised release. Police say they found a cocked revolver in his pocket while taking him into custody on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in Danville. Officers also found 13 shotgun shells in a bag near where he had been sitting. The driver was separately charged, and that case remains pending.
