Manchester United draws 4-4 with Aston Villa after twice trailing by two goals

Manchester United came back twice from two goals down to draw 4-4 with Aston Villa at Old Trafford, salvaging a point with goals from Joshua Zirkzee in stoppage time and Patrick Dorgu moments later. Villa raced into a 2-0 lead, but Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty and Youri Tielemans equalized before halftime; second-half defensive mistakes then allowed John McGinn and Leon Goretzka to put Villa 4-2 ahead. The draw left United 18th and in the relegation zone, while manager Michael Carrick’s position remained uncertain.
