The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Brendan Brisson to a one-year contract for the 2026-27 season. The 24-year-old, a former first-round pick of the Vegas Golden Knights, split last season between the New York Rangers and AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack, recording one assist in three NHL games and 19 goals and 37 points in 66 AHL games. Brisson has totaled two goals and nine points in 27 career NHL appearances, while producing 145 points in 244 AHL games. With Toronto’s revamped and deep forward group, he is expected to compete for a roster spot but could spend much of the season with the Maple Leafs’ AHL affiliate. Brisson also brings notable experience from the University of Michigan and Team USA, including two goals at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
