Memphis Nightclub Raid Nets 121 Arrests, Five Records Identified

Federal officials say ICE arrested 121 people at Memphis’ El Corralón nightclub during Operation Corral Light, making it the city’s largest documented immigration sweep. The operation grew out of a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation search warrant concerning alleged illegal gambling machines and drug activity, prompting attorneys to question whether the warrant supported the broader immigration arrests.
