Micah Parsons Eyes Week 6 Packers Return
Micah Parsons will miss at least the Green Bay Packers’ first four games of the 2026 season while recovering from left ACL reconstruction and meniscus surgery. The team has taken a cautious approach, but there is optimism that the star edge rusher could return in Week 5 against the Chicago Bears on Oct. 11. If he is not ready then, Week 6 against his former team, the Dallas Cowboys, on Oct. 18 is considered a realistic target. Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said the team expects Parsons to be close after the four-game window, though he still must progress from straight-line running to changing direction and receive medical clearance. His absence will test Green Bay’s defense early, while his eventual return could significantly improve the team’s prospects for the remainder of the season.
