MicroVision lidar tested on FieldAI autonomous vehicles and drones

MicroVision has expanded its collaboration with FieldAI to explore using MicroVision’s sensing technology in autonomous ground and aerial systems for government and industrial applications. FieldAI’s Federal team has tested MicroVision’s IRIS long-range lidar on ground vehicles, while the companies demonstrated a Robinson Unmanned Spirit drone equipped with the MOVIA Air Plus sensor for real-time colorized 3D lidar mapping integrated with ATAK. FieldAI has also purchased MOVIA sensors for development and evaluation, with both companies citing potential for broader adoption across their programs.
