Mike Rogers campaigns across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula
Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mike Rogers campaigned in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula as part of his “We Have a State to Save” tour, stopping in Marquette and Gladstone. He emphasized bringing manufacturing jobs back, lowering utility and auto insurance costs, improving literacy and education, and expanding access to housing. Rogers also criticized Democrat Abdul El-Sayed’s Medicare-for-all proposal, arguing it would eliminate private health insurance, and spoke about combating antisemitism and making people feel safe on college campuses.
