Mild Weather Forecast for Central and Eastern U.S. as Clocks Fall Back
Much of the central and eastern U.S. is forecast to have a mild, mostly dry final week of October, with daytime highs generally in the upper 60s to upper 70s and Nashville nearing 80. Rain chances increase over Halloween weekend and Sunday, with the greatest precipitation chances in Nashville, Charleston and Cleveland; Blacksburg also has a chance of showers Sunday. Daylight saving time ends Sunday, November 1, when clocks move back one hour, giving residents an extra hour overnight but shifting sunset earlier by the clock.
