Search teams are continuing efforts to find Colorado Mountain College students Kaden Matsuda, 19, and Jackson Donlon, 20, who went missing after setting out to hike Ice Mountain in Chaffee County. A snowstorm brought heavy snow to the area, and crews found their collapsed tent and some gear but have not located the hikers.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln has formed a 30-member advisory committee and hired WittKieffer to find its next chancellor. Listening sessions Nov. 12–13 will gather campus and community input for a position profile expected by late December or early January; the university hopes to present a finalist to the Board of Regents by June 2027.
