Arkansas and Vermont Open 2027 Health Enrollment on Nov. 1
Open enrollment for 2027 health coverage begins Nov. 1 in Arkansas and Vermont, while some employer plans have separate enrollment periods; people are urged to compare premiums, benefits, provider networks and prescription coverage before choosing. In Arkansas, fewer marketplace insurers will participate, with Ambetter and QualChoice Life and Health no longer offered, though QCA Health Plan remains; income-based premium tax credits are available to eligible households. Arkansas residents generally need to enroll or change plans by Dec. 15 for coverage to begin Jan. 1. Vermont’s enrollment period ends Dec. 28, but the same Dec. 15 deadline applies for Jan. 1 coverage, and new federal rules will limit which immigrants qualify for financial assistance and require full repayment of excess advance tax credits if income is underestimated. Purdue employees have a separate benefits enrollment period through Nov. 10, with some accounts requiring active re-enrollment, while many employer plans also use annual open enrollment to let workers adjust coverage.
