Millrose Faces Securities Class Action Over Alleged Fraud
Investors have filed securities class-action lawsuits alleging that Millrose Properties and certain executives misled shareholders about the company’s business plans. The complaints say Millrose represented that it would not lease properties or have tenants, but allegedly bought about $200 million in finished homes from former parent Lennar and rented them out at a loss. A Hunterbrook Media report about the rentals was followed by an 8.5% drop in Millrose shares, according to the lawsuits. Investors who purchased Millrose securities between February 7, 2025, and October 2, 2026, have until December 8, 2026, to ask the court to appoint them lead plaintiff; participation as lead plaintiff is not required to potentially share in a recovery.
