Miranda Lambert Releases Classic Country Heartbreaker
Miranda Lambert has released “Two Things Can Be True,” the latest preview of her upcoming album Crisco, due Oct. 2 through MCA. The classic-country heartbreak song explores the tension between recognizing a relationship is fading and continuing to hold on, with lush strings, steel guitar and an old-school Patsy Cline influence. Lambert, who co-produced the track with Jesse Frasure, called it one of her favorite songs on the 12-track album. Crisco also includes the previously released title track, “Sunset Marquis,” “Till The Going’s Gone” and the Grammy-nominated Chris Stapleton duet “A Song To Sing.” The album blends traditional country themes with disco-inspired elements, reflecting Lambert’s effort to bring together heartbreak, honky-tonk energy and dance-oriented influences.
