Miss America contestants dazzle with karate, dance and steel drums in West Palm Beach

Miss America 2027 contestants continued preliminary competition in West Palm Beach, with the talent portion featuring 104 delegates across the Miss America and Miss America’s Teen pageants. Performances included cultural dances, Broadway songs, instrumental acts, steel drum music and karate, highlighting the contestants’ range and backgrounds. Miss Texas Regan Hutsell, Miss Utah Erika Dalton and Miss New Jersey Kylie Gene Wright were identified as winners in the Miss America’s Got Talent competition. Earlier preliminaries included fitness, community-service questions and evening gown presentations, with scholarship money awarded to category winners. Miss Florida Alexandra de Roos, who founded the brain-injury advocacy nonprofit The Blue Project after surviving a traumatic brain injury, is representing her home state ahead of Sunday’s Miss America competition.
