Missile Strike Kills Dozens at Yemen Camp
Three missiles struck a government military training camp in Yemen’s Shabwa province on Monday, killing soldiers and injuring dozens as fighting between Houthi rebels and government forces escalates. Early reports put the death toll at 25, while a later account said it had risen to 53 as wounded troops died; the Houthis had not claimed responsibility. The attack came amid renewed clashes on other fronts, including fighting near the strategic Bab al-Mandeb Strait. Separately, government forces said eight soldiers were killed in a battle with Houthi fighters in Lahj province.
