Missouri County Treasurer Charged With CSAM Distribution
Kenneth S. Ratliff, 51, Hickory County’s treasurer and a substitute teacher and cross-country coach at Macks Creek schools, faces a federal charge of distributing child sexual abuse material. Court filings allege he shared a video depicting the sexual abuse of a child in an online chat used to trade such material; the allegations have not been proven in court. The school district said it terminated Ratliff after learning of the case and will cooperate with law enforcement. Ratliff appeared in federal court in Jefferson City and remained in custody, with another hearing scheduled; if convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison.
