Mobile Home Fires Kill One, Injure One

A fire at a mobile home park in unincorporated Desert Hot Springs sent one person to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Firefighters contained the blaze shortly after it was reported, and the Red Cross was requested to assist the resident. In a separate fire in Midwest City, Oklahoma, a 62-year-old man was found inside the mobile home and died at the scene despite firefighters’ efforts to rescue him. The home was destroyed, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
