Momcilovic Hits Four 3s in Kentucky Debut

Kentucky transfer Milan Momcilovic has quickly become a centerpiece of Mark Pope’s plans, bringing a record-setting 3-point shot to a team with national-title ambitions. After making 48.7% of his 3-pointers and 136 long-range shots last season, he opened his Kentucky tenure with 16 points, four 3-pointers and seven rebounds in an exhibition win over Little Rock. Pope says Momcilovic’s quick release and shooting range make him difficult to guard, even when opponents focus their defense on him. Momcilovic aims to keep producing from beyond the arc, pursue Kentucky’s single-season 3-point record and contribute more on the boards.
