Montana’s Largest Mural Nears Completion
A roughly 10,000-square-foot mural depicting cattle branding and other scenes from eastern Montana is nearing completion on Glendive’s historic GTA elevator. The project, painted by Griffin Foster with assistant Matt Bachman, is the first installment of a tourism initiative funded by a $1.25 million state grant. In Washington, D.C., Ben’s Chili Bowl is known for its colorful mural honoring prominent Black Americans, including figures with ties to the city. The mural has changed over time, reflecting both the restaurant’s history and the broader cultural heritage of the U Street neighborhood.
