Fresno Man Dies After Motorcycle Overturns Between Semis on Highway 99

A 33-year-old Fresno man died and his female passenger suffered major injuries in a motorcycle crash Friday morning on southbound Highway 99 in Madera County. California Highway Patrol investigators said the pair were riding between two semitr trucks when the motorcycle lost control, overturned and ejected both riders; reports differed on whether a truck was directly involved in the crash. Both riders wore helmets, and authorities do not suspect alcohol or drugs were factors. The crash remains under investigation.
