Multiple California Crashes Leave People Injured
Separate traffic collisions across California left people injured and prompted investigations by the California Highway Patrol and other authorities. In San Diego, a semi-truck and sedan collided on southbound Interstate 805, leaving the sedan’s driver apparently unconscious at the scene; her condition was not reported. A semi-truck crash on Interstate 10 near Cactus City sent a woman with arm and hip pain to a hospital, while a four-vehicle collision on the same freeway near Atlantic Boulevard in Los Angeles left one person with minor injuries. Near Fort Bragg, a two-vehicle crash caused major injuries, with one vehicle going down an embankment and the other catching fire; both lanes were temporarily closed. In Santa Rosa, a box truck and car collided on Highway 101, and a car occupant with back pain was taken to a hospital.
