Road Closures Scheduled in Peterborough, Lewiston and Hull

Burford Way in Peterborough is expected to close to vehicles between No. 6 and 59 Eye Road from November 9 to 13 for roadworks; access will be maintained, but no vehicle diversion is available. In Lewiston, a temporary closure at the Thain Road, Bryden Avenue and 11th Street intersection is scheduled for November 9, 2026, for fiber installation, with a brief full traffic halt at 7 p.m. and lane restrictions and flaggers in place. In Hull, northbound Holwell Road traffic, including buses, will be diverted via Honiton Road and Wawne Road (East) for about six weeks beginning November 11, 2026, while carriageway widening and reconstruction work continues; southbound traffic is expected to be unaffected.
