Murder Mystery Dinners Planned at Several Venues
Several venues are promoting interactive murder-mystery experiences, combining live performances with dinner or audience participation. In Phoenix, the Old Spaghetti Factory is advertising a three-course mystery dinner at what it describes as one of the nation’s most haunted locations. Sioux Falls’ Minervas will host the masked Halloween-themed “Behind the Maks” dinner on October 30, with guests receiving character cards in advance. Watts Hall in Thomaston will stage Mystery 207’s new 1920s-themed show, “Gin, Guns, and Guilty Secrets,” on November 6, with a three-course meal prepared by culinary students. Wheeler High Theatre will present the comedy “Clue” October 9–11, while Beef House Dinner Theatre in Covington will stage the hippie-era mystery “Reunion at Hippie High” October 30 through November 1, featuring ’60s music and a costume contest.
