Music, Theater Listings Span Four Countries

Upcoming entertainment offerings span live theater, television and concert performances. Lincoln Center Theater is presenting a Ruben Santiago-Hudson-directed revival of August Wilson’s *Seven Guitars*, set in 1940s Pittsburgh and centered on blues musician Floyd Barton and his community. BBC Four’s Friday lineup revisits pop performances from the 1980s and 1990s, honors Donna Summer and explores disco’s cultural history. In Athens, VANILA SWING’s “From Swing to Rock ’n’ Roll” traces the musical path from swing and rhythm and blues to early rock, while Canberra’s The 60 Four perform a tribute to 1960s and ’70s hits by artists including Elvis Presley, The Beach Boys and The Beatles.
