Muskegon Airport Plans First Florida Route

Denver Air Connection will begin weekly Saturday nonstop flights from Muskegon County Airport to Orlando Sanford International Airport on Jan. 9, 2027, marking the airport’s first scheduled nonstop service to Florida. The seasonal route is scheduled to run through April 10, using a 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145, with one-way fares starting at $199 and tickets going on sale Nov. 10, 2026. The roughly 1,030-mile flight will be operated outside Denver Air Connection’s Essential Air Service contract and would be one of the longest commercial E145 routes in the country. The airline also serves Muskegon with daily flights to Chicago O’Hare, where passengers can connect to major carriers.
