My Chemical Romance Scores First UK No. 1

My Chemical Romance’s 2006 album The Black Parade has reached No. 1 on the U.K. albums chart for the first time, 20 years after its original release debuted at No. 2. A 20th-anniversary reissue featuring previously unreleased material and rare live recordings helped propel the album past releases by Fontaines D.C. and Olivia Rodrigo. Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black also returned to the chart’s top five after an anniversary reissue, rising to No. 4. Other notable entries included Manic Street Preachers’ The Holy Bible Live at No. 10, Tony Iommi’s From the Dark at No. 11 and Michael Kiwanuka’s FUDGE at No. 13.
