Napa’s Oenotri Plans Closure After 17 Years
Oenotri, a celebrated Southern Italian restaurant on downtown Napa’s First Street, will close Nov. 14, 2026, after nearly 17 years. Opened in 2010 by chef-owner Tyler Rodde, it became known for handmade pasta, house-made salumi and wood-fired pizza, along with a seasonal menu drawing on ingredients from its garden. The restaurant said it had become a gathering place and second home for customers and thanked its employees and guests for their support. Its owners described the closure as a natural evolution as they move on to other chapters, without publicly giving a specific reason.
