Nasdaq Says Routine Network Issue Caused Equity Data Gaps
Nasdaq reported a network disruption at its Carteret, New Jersey, facility on Thursday that caused intermittent data gaps across its U.S. equities markets, including Nasdaq, Nasdaq Texas and Nasdaq PSX. The exchange advised customers to switch to unaffected backup feeds from Chicago and request recovery of missing data. The issue was described as a routine network problem, not a failure of Nasdaq’s internal systems, and did not affect trading; the data gaps had ceased in recent hours as Nasdaq investigated.
