National Peanut Festival adds sky ride and country acts in Dothan
Dothan’s 82nd National Peanut Festival runs Nov. 6–15, bringing rides, food, agricultural exhibits, livestock shows, concerts and other events to the Fairgrounds. New this year is a Reithoffer Shows Sky Ride with 73 cars, offering one-way trips for $6 and round trips for $9, with views across the grounds. Country performers announced for the festival include Corey Kent, Lauren Alaina and Tyler Hubbard, with concerts at the All In Amphitheater. General admission is separate from tickets for arena events, and ride armbands not included in a presale pass must be bought on-site; ticket sales are final. Organizers expect large crowds and advise visitors to plan for traffic near the fairgrounds, while the festival parade is scheduled for Nov. 14.
